Passion. Experience. Diligence.
How it started.
I love to collect typography based posters whenever and however I can, from estate sales to FlatStock - a huge poster event that’s held in a city just up I-35 in Austin Tx. My goal is to have my office covered in different “types” of posters. I’ve got a few on display below. Typography has always run deep and I have even gone through the effort to collect a working 1913 Charles & Price Letterpress Machine, which I love. Traditional letterpress is a super intensive, tedious process to get a complete print. Setting up for a letterpress print involves hand-setting type, manually add the lead spacing between the lines of text, and quoining your phrase within the steel chase frame. Fun Fact of the Day | `To Quoin a Phrase
` - comes from this letterpress process.
I’ve got a few pieces shown here that have been produced using my beautiful machine.

Corporate Roles & Responsibilities
Earth class mail - 2021
Product Designer
Upon joining the Product Design team, I worked to help transform the team from reactive to proactive. Supporting current projects and identifying ways to improve the customer experience of the company’s web app were top priorities in my day-to-day.
I collected and analyzed customer data around user experience issues and interactions to discover user trends and pain points. I created, tested, and presented prototypes to showcase in front of management and executives. These prototypes would be adjusted based on company feedback and user testing.
My efforts were guided by the product team’s main guiding goal to make our customers’ experience simpler and easier to use.
Paper Cuts
To follow/to keep to our guiding principle of making our customers’ experience easier and simpler to use, we were continuously reviewing and using our product to get the first-hand experience with the pains our customers go through. Through our review process, we would suggest ways to improve efficiency by checking and documenting “paper-cuts”. Minor UI/UX issues that cause friction when using our product.
Design System Updates / Maintenance
Through working on all these various projects, the need for a cohesive, complete, and modular design system became increasingly vital. I identified current and potential bottlenecks reference document to which the Product Design Team utilized as a guide for new development.
Dark Mode iOS
In early 2021 I was the design lead for the Dark Mode project for the iOS App. This has been a frequent request made by our customers through our feedback platform. Throughout this design process, I had to keep sure that accessibility was upheld across the entire UX of the app. This project was implemented in a quick fashion with our customers delighted to hear of our recent update.
Earth class mail 2020
Marketing Graphic Designer
For the first 3 months at Earth Class Mail, I was tasked with working on various marketing collateral initiatives. One of the first was working on a Legal Conference focused on Attorneys. Creating conference booth graphics, conference branded landing-page on the website, giveaway swag items, and supporting graphics for social media.
During this time I helped with other marketing assets such as case study designs, email assets, and even marketing video assets.
Growth Squad - Design Team Lead
I was a representative of the Product Design Team on the Growth Squad of Earth Class Mail. The Growth Squad was a team that consisted of various departments across the company including designer (myself), product manager, data analyst, developer, marketing, customer support, and sales.
We would meet weekly to identify potential growth areas and as a group decides where our energy should be focused. We saw an opportunity to decrease the checkout drop-off rates on our website and thru collected, reviewed, analyzed data, and identified pages we could improve.
I lead the team in the following design sprint and was responsible for weekly progress updates to the rest of the team and the executive board. I took strategies and feedback from these sessions and designed working prototypes.
